What qualifications do I need to become a POSP?

To become a POSP, you need to have a valid insurance license/certification and complete the necessary training program offered by Policy Leader. Per the IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India) guidelines, the POSP should be 18 years or more and at least 10th standard (school) passed.

The following documents have to be submitted with Kataria Insurance Brokers P. Ltd.

  1. PAN Card
  2. Aadhar Card

Note: Further documents and information will be required and your POSP Manager, will inform you as and when required.

How much can I earn as a POSP?

As a POSP with Policy Leader, you can earn commissions on every policy sold, and the amount can vary depending on the type of policy and the insurance company. How long does it take to become a POSP?

The training program offered by Policy Leader can take anywhere between a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on the complexity of the insurance policies being sold. The training is for 15 hours and this is followed by a certification test.

As a POSP, you will be an independent contractor, and not an employee of Policy Leader. You will have the freedom to work independently and choose your own clients.
